This is the girls by Emma Cline and I felt the need to review it, because I really take people's opinions seriously about books. I read for fun but, I don't really like wasting my time, and found this in a really small bookstore in the new section, and figured I might as well give it a go. It I think it was published not even two months ago, and it's already hit the New York Times bestseller's list, and I think the Amazon top 100. It's fiction, but it is loosely based off of Charles Manson's Cult at the violent end of the 1960's in northern California, and it's really, like the title says about the girls that were involved especially the main character who's only 14. So it's really more of a coming of age story if anything, but it's Emma Cline's first novel and she's one of the most talented writers there is, So, I recommend it.
